Margaret Willing

WILLING, Margaret Maria, age 81 of Swartz Creek, died Monday, February 26, 2007 at home. Funeral Services will be held 12:30PM Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8PM Tuesday and 11AM until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Margaret was born February 13, 1926 in Melschede Gemainda Hovel, Germany the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Pungel) Ruetten. She graduated high school in Germany and in 1945 met Clarence Willing while he was serving in Germany for the U.S. Army. She rejoined him in the United States, where they were then married on May 8, 1948 in Maplegrove, Michigan. Margaret had lived in Swartz Creek since 1949 and was employed by AC Spark Plug until her retirement. Surviving are her 2 daughters, Gabriele "Gay" Mickels (Thomas) of Mt. Morris, Marita "Marty" Richardson (Keith) of Flint Twp.; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Milem (Kim), Andrea Robinson (Robbie), Gina Mickels, Tommy Mickels (Lacy), Kelli Richardson, Scott Richardson; 4 great-grandchildren, Cory, Tyler, Taylor, Karlie; and many loving members of the Willing Family. Also surviving are family still residing in Germany, brother-in-law, Jupp Vornweg; special niece, Annegret and great-niece, Annalena.
