Margaret A. Trembath

TREMBATH, Margaret A. - age 77, of Gaines, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Durand Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel 209 E. Broad St. Linden with Mr. Forest Kallin officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 12-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Gaines United Methodist Church or Avalon Hospice. Margaret was born June 6, 1929 in Gaines, the daughter of Thomas B. and Helen Bird (Luce) Lawrence. She was a 1947 graduate of Durand High School and married Russell George Trembath in Gaines on October 24, 1952 and he preceded her in death. Margaret was a life long resident of Gaines and a life time member of Gaines United Methodist Church where she served as the Membership Secretary. Margaret was a bartender at the Gaines Bar for 17 years. Surviving are: two daughters, Jane Ann and husband, Timothy Hardy of Gaines, Janice Marie and husband, Jack Cushman of Burton; son, William Russell Tremboth and wife, Jane of Portland, OR; special daughter, Lorena and husband, Lynn Wright of Waterford; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Lawrence and wife, Alma, John Lawrence and wife, Shirley; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: her parents.
