Margaret E. Torrey

Margaret Elaine Torrey, age 76, of Grand Blanc, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024. Visitation will be held at 1pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:30pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Tributes can be shared by visiting her obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. 

She was born October 3, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to the late John & Naomi Goddard. She graduated from Flint Southwestern class of 1966. Margaret was a resilient woman as she weathered many storms all her life. This made her to be a strong woman and good mother. Margaret enjoyed listening to country music and did much reading throughout her life. In earlier years she would crochet and macramé and recently one might find her busy with a word search. Above all she valued her friends and family and they will miss her dearly. 

Margaret is survived by her children, Scott Torrey, Christina (Cory) Raines and Jonathan Torrey; grandchildren, Nicole and Ronald; sisters, Shirley (Donald) Hodgeson and Janet White;11 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces and nephews.
