SHEDD, Margaret ("Peggy"), age 70, of Flint, Michigan, passed away at her home on Thursday October 29, 2009. Peggy was the fourth of eight children born of Noel and Elaine Blood, and graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1957. Peggy's professional career was varied, having worked at Baker Drug Store and Riegle Press. Her unique love for gifts and curios led her to open her own business called Miss Peggy's Trendy Notions in Windmill Place. She also ran the gift shop at the Flint Institute of the Arts for several years. Peggy was a long-time resident of Flint, MI, and loved gardening, interior design, and improving every aspect of her home. Peggy is survived by daughter, Sally Hudlow and husband, Michael and granddaughters Kaitlyn and Hannah of Dunwoody, GA. She is also survived by Sister Mary Brady and husband Charles of Clio, Joe Blood and wife Roberta of Flushing, James Blood and wife Beth of Clio, Vincent Blood and wife Theresa of Wentzville, Missouri, Stan Blood of Flint and Charles Blood of Concord, California and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday November 1 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road just south of Hill Road. Her celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 2, 1:30 p.m., also at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Our mother, sister, aunt, and friend will be missed by all who knew her and will always be remembered for her keen sense of style and for her appreciation of the arts.
