Margaret "Irene" Robinson

ROBINSON, Margaret "Irene" -- Age 71, of Flint Township and Hobe Sound, FL, died July 4, 2007 in Florida. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Wednesday, July 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 5-9 PM Sunday, 2-4 and 6-9 PM Monday and Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Treasure Coast Hospice. She was born August 12, 1935 the daughter of William and Ethel (Tolley) Bennett. She was married to Melvin R. Robinson on July 3, 1965. She had been employed by Container Specialties for many years. Irene enjoyed cooking and shopping, and was active in the VFW Post 10132 in Florida. Surviving are: husband Melvin; two children, Dennie Bennett and wife Karen Sue of Flushing, Mary "Susie" DiCosola and husband David of Indian River; sisters, Robbie, Catherine, Peggy, Phyllis, Priscilla; brothers, James, Kenneth, all of Erwin, TN; dear friends, Georgia Dill, Arlene Simon, Lori and Mike Herrick; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ethel Bennett; in-laws, Roy and Mary Robinson;  brother-in-law, Wayne Robinson; and many dear friends.
