Margaret Ann Reed

Margaret Ann "Margie" Reed (Hincka) was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away in her home on February 6, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born on December 8, 1948, to Anthony and Elizabeth Hincka. After graduating from Posen High School, she met her husband of 56 years, Jerry Reed. Together they had two children: Jacqueline Brosseau (Raymond), and Jerry Reed II; five grandchildren: Billy Knight (Athena), Destinee Taylor (Brett), Cameron Sisler, Hope Reed, and Andrew Sisler; and two great-grandchildren: Wylde (Son of Niquita Burke) and Hensley Knight. Margie enjoyed spending time with her family, playing games, going for walks, reading, and laughing. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gaines, Michigan where she was a eucharistic minister and spent over 20 years as a Religious Education Teacher. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, February 10, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 9450 Duffield Rd, Gaines, MI 48436. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, February 9, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 where a rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Friday.
