Margaret Pratt

PRATT, Margaret Eleanor - Age 88, of Swartz Creek, died May 1, 2016. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. Steven Close will officiate. Burial will follow in Bristol Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Tuesday and from 12 PM until the time of service Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to West Flint Church of the Nazarene. Margaret was born April 8, 1928 in Flint, the daughter of Roy and Wavia Leona (Lee) Horton. She was a 1946 graduate of Beecher High School and was married to Ira Pratt on June 1, 1947. Mrs. Pratt worked as a bookkeeper for Detroit and Northern and Sunshine Biscuit. She attended West Flint Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Pratt enjoyed canning, sewing, baking, traveling and camping. She is survived by her husband, Ira; children, Carol Davidson-Spencer of Mackinaw City, Jeanette (Delbert) Sabin of Swartz Creek, Marion (Kenneth) Collard of Kalamazoo; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Marlene Horton of Mackinaw City.
