Margaret Jean McCAUSLAND - MYERS

McCAUSLAND-MYERS, Margaret Jean - age 82, of Fenton, died Thursday, July 12, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 16, 2012 at Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 West Broad Street, Linden with Rev. Don Neuville and Pastor Seth Normington officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 1-4 PM and 6-8 PM Sunday, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden and 10-11 AM Monday, at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the Linden Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund. Margaret was born April 16, 1930 in Detroit, the daughter of Charles "Harley" Good and Mary Bernice (Osborne) Beck. She married William John McCausland June 25, 1949 in Detroit and he preceded her in death on October 25, 1986. She then married Edward R. Myers on August 20, 2005 in Linden. She was a resident of Fenton since 1968 coming from Redford and Detroit. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, Flint and was an elementary teacher for Linden Community Schools for 18 years, retiring in 1992. Margaret was a member of Linden Presbyterian Church and the Common Thread Quilters Guild. She is survived by her husband, Edward; children, Mary (Ronald) Sieracki of Holland, William (Karen) McCausland of Ft. Loudin, PA, Thomas (Laura) McCausland of Rochester and Nancy (Charles) Green of Fenton; 3 stepsons, Tom (Lori) of Mt. Pleasant, Paul (Shelly) of Canada and Bob (Kathy) of Shepherd; 8 grandchildren, Sarah Knutson of Vermont, Bethany Sieracki of Holland, Steven McCausland an Kimberly McCausland of Ft. Loudin, PA, Evan (Victoria) McCausland of Howell, Mark McCausland of Fairborn, OH, Ian Green of Royal Oak and Molly Green of Fenton; several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jane Orrin of Holly.
