Margaret MURPHY

MURPHY, Margaret "Peggi" - age 55, passed away on June 02, 2011 at Brian's House Hospice in Davison. Peggi was born on September 28, 1955 the daughter of William and Pauline Murphy. She graduated from Powers High School. She was employed in Warren designing the dashboards for the Cadillac. She worked in Cocoa Beach, FL at the Sea Ray Co. designing dashboards for the large cruisers. Peggi made several quilts by hand, painted beautiful pictures and small boxes as gifts. Peggi is survived by her son, Benjamin Skipper of Dallas, TX; mother, Pauline Murphy; two sisters, Kathleen Snyder and Paula (Richard) Dellinger; brother, Bill Murphy from Corpus Christi, TX; nieces and nephews, Aimee and Liz Snyder, Sarah Hooks, Bridget Forton, Dan and Angie Dellinger, Rich Dellinger, Dana Seeley; special nieces and nephews, Spencer, Joshua, Nick, Natalie, Tyler, Gracie, Chole, Brady, and Lindsey. In lieu of flowers, may be made to the Peggi Murphy Memorial Fund. Proceeds will go toward a bench, oriental tree and plague at the McLaren Cancer Center in memory of Peggi. Services will be held 6 PM Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 6 PM Sunday.
