KIRK, Margaret D. -- Age 98, of Flint, died June 8, 2012 at Avalon Hospice. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Private family funeral services will be held Monday with interment following in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Flowers are welcome or those desiring may make contributions to Hospice. Margaret was born June 26, 1913 in Farwell, MI, the daughter of Jay Ransom Middleton and Agnes (Couffel) Middleton. She was married to Thomas J. Kirk, II in 1936 in Flint; he preceded her in death in 1954. She had resided in Grand Blanc or Flint since 1992 coming from Detroit. She was very artistic and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are: daughter Sally A. Tomich (Raymond P.) of Clinton Township; son, Thomas J. Kirk, III (Lucinda) of Grand Blanc; four grandchildren, Dawn R. Lucia (Jessie), Mark R. Tomich (Ann Marie), Thomas J. Kirk IV (Trisha), Stephanie Rose Gray (Matthew); three great-grandchildren, Marko Tomich, Gianna Tomich, Thomas J. Kirk, V. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Tamara Sue Kirk; two brothers, Merle, Kenneth; six sisters Vernie B., Gracie, Eleanor, Dora, Edith, and June.
