Margaret Jobe

JOBE, Margaret Marie - Age 90, of Fenton, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 3 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Jim Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Tyrone Memory Gardens, Fenton. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday and 10 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek. Margaret was born May 7, 1927 in Wadena, MN, the daughter of Anker and Anna Maria Louisa (Kramer) Aagard. She grew up in Minnesota and moved to Michigan in 1955. She married Francis D. Jobe on August 24, 1945 in Fergus Falls, MN; he preceded her in death on October 1, 2004. Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek. She enjoyed gardening, creating and teaching stained glass art work and crocheting. Margaret is survived by children, Linda Redman, Frank (Marit Janse) Jobe, Barbara (Richard) McMaster, Deborah (Ronald) Renkiewicz, Doretta (John) Alexander; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Kenneth Murphy. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karen Murphy; brother, Elmer Aagard; sister, Marion Truenow and son-in-law, Al Redman.
