GAGNON, Margaret Rose "Marti" - Age 74, of Lake Fenton, died Sunday, August 5, 2018 in Cape Coral, FL. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Interment will be in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9 PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Marti was born December 18, 1943 the daughter of Edgar Earl and Margaret Louise (Ray) Wilkins. She moved with her family to Flint at age 9 from Senath, MO. Marti attended Beecher High School and graduated from Senath High School. She married Gerald L. Gagnon Sr. in Flint on January 14, 1967. Marti served for many years as the Transportation Supervisor for the Lake Fenton Schools. She was an avid Lake Fenton sports booster where she was active in little league, a soft ball coach, and a wrestling booster. Marti enjoyed fishing, bowling, bingo, camping and especially spending time with her grandchildren! Surviving are: her children, Barbara Gagnon, Sheri Gagnon, Kristina Maricle, and Gerald L. (Amber) Gagnon Jr.; 10 grandchildren, Cody, Johnathon, Kyla, Troy, Tess, Cali, Trent, Maicie, Abigail, and Avery; great grandchildren, Bailee and Sawyer; brothers, Edgar Wilkins and William Huey Wilkins; best friends, Gracie Cramer and Ruth Schneider; and several nieces and nephews.
