Margaret Fischer

FISCHER, Margaret C. - Age 93 of Fenton, formerly of Montrose, passed away Tuesday September 18, 2018. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 600 N. Adelaide Street, Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of mass at Church Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Medical Team Hospice (please write in memo line) the Music Therapy Department. Margaret was born February 15, 1925 in Paisley, Scotland, the daughter of Hugh and Margaret (Tulloch) Reid. She married Everett George Fischer in Providence, RI on November 3, 1943. Margaret was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Agnes Parish, Flint; St. Robert Parish, Flushing, St. John Parish, Fenton, and the Flushing Senior Center. She volunteered at St. Agnes School, Crossroads Village, and St. Robert School. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: children, Paul (Sandy) Fischer of Carrot Creek, Alberta, Canada, Kathryn (Charlie) Ross of Linden, MI, Andrew (Ginger) Fischer of Montrose, MI, and Frederick (Liz) Fischer of Alto, MI; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
