Margaret 'Jackie' FERNELIUS

FERNELIUS, Margaret "Jackie" - Age 79, of Linden, went home to live with her Lord and Savior, Monday, May 31, 2010. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Linden Free Methodist Church, 13274 S. Linden Road, Linden, with Rev. Bill Moull officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden Tuesday from 5-9 PM and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. Jackie was born September 19, 1930 in Detroit, the daughter of Clyde and Marvella (Jones) Belding. She married Ronald G. Fernelius May 15, 1948 in Lucas County, OH. She has resided in Linden since 1971, coming from Burton. She was a member of Linden Free Methodist Church for 30 years, where she lovingly served as a greeter, teacher, day care provider and was head of Stewards for many years. She was the dear wife of Ronald Fernelius; beloved mother of Ronald C. and wife Debra of Elk Rapids, Kathleen and husband Tim Clothier of Tawas, David and wife Cathy of Grand Blanc, Dan and wife Karen of Fenton, Paul and wife Sharon of Charlotte, NC, Linda and husband Tom Mulanix of Swartz Creek, Mark and wife Karen of Fenton Township and Nancy Thornhill of Swartz Creek; she leaves to cherish her memory 24 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
