Margaret DONIGAN

DONIGAN, Margaret - Age 85, of Flint, passed away, Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Brian's House of Davison. Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Hope United Methodist Church, 4467 Beecher Rd, Flint, with Reverend John Ferris and Reverend Hal Phillips officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday from 9:30AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hope United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or Brian's House of Davison. Margaret was born June 10, 1924 in Flint, the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Godsey) Hunt. She married Burton Donigan January 29, 1943 in Flint. Mrs. Donigan was an LPN for several years, she was a faithful member of Hope United Methodist Church and very active in other area church's serving in the choir and also teaching Sunday school. In her spare time Margaret enjoyed painting, working in oil paints. Surviving are: her husband of 67 years Burton of Flint; daughter, Peggy (Paul) Blanchard of Flushing; son, Dan (Debbie) Donigan of IL; grandchildren, Geoff Curtis, Brian Curtis, Abigail Donigan, Rachael Koester; 6 Great Grandsons; brother Ned Hunt of AR; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Parker, Maude Griffith; brothers, Claude Hunt and Joseph Hunt. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Woodhaven Senior Community and the staff at Brian's House of Davison for their support and compassion.
