Margaret Elizabeth Brown

BROWN, Margaret Elizabeth- Age 92, of Fenton formerly of Harbor Springs, Grosse Pointe and Mt. Clemens, died Monday March 20, 2006 at Crestmont Nursing Care Facility.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 24, 2006 at Grace Episcopal Church, 115 S. Main St., Mt. Clemens.  Rev. Ann Bump officiating.  Burial in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.  Margaret was born January 14, 1914 in Mt. Clemens, the daughter of Paul H. and Irene Rose (Devroy) Duckert.  She married Wesley F. L. Brown December 30, 1935 and he preceded her in death March 7, 1964. Margaret worked as a secretary, a religious educator, and managed an art gallery. She also was a cook, a hostess, an artist, and an aspiring author.  She attended St. Judes Episcopal Church in Fenton and was a former member of Grace Episcopal Church in Mt. Clemens and Christ Episcopal Church in Grosse Pointe were she ran the religious education program for many years.  Mother of 2 children, Paula and Wayne (Carol); Grandmother of Elizabeth (Chris) and Aaron; Sister of Bill, Kathryn, Helen and Paul; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
