BLAIN, Margaret Anne - age 86, of Flint, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at her residence. Services will be held 3 PM Friday, February 6, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church of Flint, 746 S. Saginaw St., Flint. The family will receive friends from 3-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Old Newsboys of Flint, the Eastern Michigan Food Bank or the Miracle Network c/o Hurley Hospital. Margaret was born February 6, 1922 in Flint, the daughter of Dellis H. and Mae (Tubbs) Crane. She was married to Charles H. Blain for over 60 years and devoted her life to her husband and children and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Flint. Surviving are: daughter, JoAnn (John) McIntosh of Grand Blanc; son, Brian Blain of Clarkston; daughter-in-law, Pat Blain of Harbor Springs; five grandchildren, Susan (Dan) Dowling of Grand Blanc, Nancy (Matthew) Sharai of Flint, Margaret McIntosh of Cleveland, OH, Jessica (Nicholas) Fetting of Harbor Springs, Charles Patrick Blain of Harbor Springs; four great-grandchildren, Andrew and Thomas Dowling and Benjamin and Henry Sharai; two sisters, Madeline (Roy) swift and Jeanne (Earl) Hall of Flint; very special niece, Phyllis Dury of Flint; and new friend, Sheila Marlow. She was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; infant son; sisters, Joanne Parks, Jayne Garbulinski; brother, Ralph Crane.
