Becker, Margaret Mary - Age 81, of Grand Blanc, died February 26 , 2020. No public services will be held. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Margaret was born January 8, 1939 in Flint, the daughter of Patrick Joseph and Frances Permelia (Smith) Murphy. She married Frederick Becker on June 22, 1963 in Flint. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2003. Margaret was a 1956 graduate of St. Matthews High School. She earned her Masters Degree in 1971 from Eastern Michigan University. Margaret was a teacher for 30 years in Flint Schools before retiring in 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Kristina (Peter) Karsten of Clarkston; 5 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Martha Blanchard; 3 brothers, Bernard Murphy, Peter Murphy, Leo Murphy; sisters, Maureen Kelly, Patricia Ann Pilara.
