Margaret Baran

BARAN, Margaret Ann - age 80, of Clarkston, died September 21, 2021. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton. Margaret was born April 1, 1941 in Detroit, the daughter of Alphonse and Frances (Kubasky) Centkowski. She married Lawrence David Baran on August 18, 1962 and he preceded her in death in 2012/ Margaret enjoyed cooking, especially Polish food and loved baking, especially her award winning apple pies. Surviving are: three sons, David (Diana) Baran of Waterford, K.C. (Shari) Baran of Fenton, and Ben Baran of Grand Blanc; seven grandchildren; cousin, Sharon (Bob) Kramer; and brother-in-law, Bob (June) Baran.
