Marciel Lindstrom

Lindstrom, Marciel Evelyn - Age 85, of Swartz Creek, met her savior on December 5, 2020. Private family funeral services will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. A live stream of the funeral will be available at 11 AM Thursday, December 10 at Mrs. Lindstrom's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park. Public Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Tuesday, December 8 at the funeral home. In lieu of sending flowers please consider donating to Gideons International.  Marciel was born October 9, 1935 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Robert Frost and Margaret (Diem) Frost. She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1953 and married Eugene Lindstrom on May 15, 1954 in Flint. Marciel worked as an executive secretary for the UAW and was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Flint. Marciel enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren at home and at the family cottage on Hubbard Lake, Michigan where she and Eugene moved following her retirement. While at Hubbard Lake Marciel and Eugene were members of Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado and served in Gideons International.  A passionate fan of Michigan football and basketball, Marciel was also fond of her two pet dogs and loved horses. Surviving her are: husband of 66 years, Eugene; children, Pamela (Jeff) Kowalcyk, Robert (Susan) Lindstrom, Raymond (Pamela) Lindstrom; nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
