Marcia (Uhlmeyer) Parsons

PARSONS,  Marcia A. (Uhlmeyer) - Age 78, died on December 15, 2020 at Melody Pines Care Home, Flint, Michigan. Private services will be held for family only and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed at 12PM Friday, December 18, 2020 on Marcia's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital  (www.stjude.org) in memory of Marcia Parsons.

Mrs. Parsons was born on February 10, 1942, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Robert and Annabelle (Dunstan) Mooney. Marcia married Richard Parsons on February 10, 1990. Marcia was the inspiration of many around her. She was the kindest and gentlest of people; always loving and respecting everyone. Marcia spent many of her years working at GM and as owner of Papa Gino's restaurant in Burton, Michigan. In her later years she became a nurse and continued her legacy of caring. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest source of pride.

Marcia leaves in her memory, husband, Richard Parsons; children, Kayanne (Daniel) Mynsberge and Michael (Debra) Uhlmeyer; step-children, Richard Parsons Jr. and Craig (Jody) Parsons; grandchildren, Jared Mynsberge, Brandon and Brittney Uhlmeyer, Caitlyn and Cooper Parsons.

Marcia was preceded in death by her late husband U. Jerome Uhlmeyer, her parents, and her sister Kaye.
