Marcia Morris

In Loving memory of Marcia Lee Morris of Fenton, Michigan.  Born September 24th, 1952 to parents Patricia and Lucian Morris.  Passed away in the early morning hours of August 13th, 2019 with her best friend Carole Greenleaf by her side.  Marcia had faced several medical setbacks over the last two years and her body finally had enough and she went comfortably to sleep.

Marcia was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, grammie, friend and nurse who really touched a lot of lives with her spunk and her love over the 66 years here with us. She was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Morris and sister Sue Putney. Both of whom are accepting her home with open arms right now.  She really stepped in to help her niece after losing her mom at 18 and was a wonderful stand in grandmother to her 3 children. She leaves behind her father Lucian (of Fenton, MI), her niece Kellie Findley and her family Lance, Kelan Elijah and Raylee Sue(of Houston, TX), her half-sister Gail Hill and niece Kami Skelton (of Cabot, AR), good friends Carole Greenleaf and Rita Akins as well as numerous other friends, former patients and colleagues. We will all remember the impact she had on us and the hole we all feel in her absence.

Per Marcia’s wishes we will not be having a memorial service at this time.  She will ultimately have her ashes laid to rest at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in a plot next to her sister Sue Putney.  In lieu of flowers we are still accepting donations in the GoFund me account to complete getting Marcia’s final wishes carried out. http://www.gofundme.com/i-need-some-help-with-marcia039s-final-expenses

So, whenever you hear Elvis or Patsy Cline you take a moment and smile and remember Marcia. If you have a beverage in hand, toast her. That would make her happy. Hug your loved ones, till we see you on the other side.
