Marcia BALASKO-DeVOE

Balasko-DeVoe, Marcia age 53 passed away suddenly December 1st. She leaves behind her loving and adoring husband David, loving daughters Karly Barrowman ( DeVoe) and Tyler, and loving grandchildren Macallister and Harper Barrowman. Parents Vincent and Sharon Balasko, siblings Denise, Vincie, and Christopher. Nieces Barbie, Bridgette, and Brystol. Best friends Vickie Wiess and Mary Balasko, the GG's, Bonnie, Wanda, Sandy and Sandy. To her family she was known as Mom, Marsh, Aunt Marty, Gram, and Grandma Marcia. Not only does Marcia leave behind her immediate family she is also leaving behind an extended family that consistes of hundreds of students and parents that spanned a career over 36 years of teaching dance. Miss Marcia owned and operated DeVoes Dance Studio in Grand Blanc. Her passion for dance goes back to dancing with New York's Radio City Rockettes, Al Gilbert, Anne Miller, and Ben Vereene. She was a wonderfully amazing woman to those who's lives she touched. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A special note to her students: You were her life, love, and passion. She loved each one of you more than you will ever know. A time to celebrate and remember Miss Marcia's life will be Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc Twp. from 12 Noon to 3 P.M. at which time an informal service presided by the family will begin.
