Marcella Alger

ALGER, Marcella Marie - Age 66, of Linden, died Saturday, July 16, 2022.  A service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene, 7154 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek.  Pastor Joshua McLaren officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

Marcella was born December 11, 1955 in Flint, the daughter of Mildred Theodore and Dorothy (Rouse) Morgan.  She attended Beecher High School.  She married Bruce M. Alger July 13, 1974 in Flint.  She had resided in Linden since 1996 coming from Beecher.  Marcella was self employed as a nursing assistant.  She was a member of Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene.  She enjoyed bowling.  She loved people especially children.

Surviving are: her husband of 48 years, Bruce; daughter, Renee (Ken) Coons of Granite Falls, NC; grandson, Brian Coons; Siblings, Carol Sanford, Jerry (MaryJane) Morgan, Mike Morgan, Anita Morgan, Ted Morgan, and Darrin Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.
