Maida Clubb

Maida Clubb - Age 102, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Regency at Grand Blanc. A funeral service will take place at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 27, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 9:30 AM until the time of service Friday. 

Maida was born on September 8, 1922 in Poynor, MO the daughter of the late Ezra and Alice (Taylor) Lynn. She worked at Schaefer's Office Supply Store for 18 years before her retirement. Maida and Gaylon were united in marriage on August 26, 1943. Sadly, he preceded her in death on September 9, 1976. She was active with the former Averill Avenue Church of Christ until the closure of the church. Maida enjoyed sewing, traveling, bowling, and playing cards. Her joy in life was spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Pavone and Tina (Terry) Lovell; cherished daughter-in-law, Becky Clubb; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Danny) Nemer, Andrew Clubb, Anthony (Karen) Lovell, Cameron (Sydney) Lovell, Kara (Andrew) Kalinowski and Eric (Lisa) Lovell; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren with one on the way; and many special friends. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Maida was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna; son, Lynn; four sisters; and many close friends.
