Mahlon Adams

ADAMS, Mahlon Cecil - Age 77, of Flint, died June 30, 2014 at Genesys Health Park. Committal Services will be held 1:30 PM Monday, July 7 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 12:30 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint with procession to the cemetery following. Those desiring may make contributions to Childrens Miracle Network or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. Mr. Adams was born October 20, 1936 in Flint the son of Peter Melvin and Dora Myrtle (Snooks) Adams. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korea war. He married Edith Elton on January 12, 1957 in Flint. Mr. Adams retired from G.M.- Chevy in the Hole in 1994 with 34 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and spending time with his family. Surviving are: wife of 57 years Edith; four children, Melinda Crawley (Dave Jernigan) of Clio, Mark (Lisa) Adams of Davison, Joseph (Vicki) Adams of Swartz Creek, Matthew (Rhonda) Adams of Flint; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
