WOODWORTH, Mae I. - Age 81, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, November 10, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, November 14, 2008 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek, with Fr. Steven Mattson celebrant. Burial immediately following at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek from 6-8 PM Wednesday, 1-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, and at church from 10 AM until time of Mass Friday. A vigil service will be held 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of one's choice. Mae was born May 15, 1927 in Detroit, the daughter of Frank and Irene (Castle) Ustishen. She married Dale E. Woodworth June 28, 1947 in Owosso and he preceded her in death March 15, 1991. She has resided in Swartz Creek since 1964. Mae enjoyed bingo, family, traveling and spending time at the cabin on Higgins Lake. Surviving are: 4 children, Bonnie K. Liquia of Swartz Creek, Diane M. Woodworth of Swartz Creek, Mark A. Woodworth of Swartz Creek, Ann and husband Michael Mose of Burton; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Rosemary and husband John Kisnosky of Owosso; sister-in-law, Pauline Ustishen of New Lothrop; many nieces and nephews.
