Mae Scherbovich

SCHERBOVICH, Mae Elizabeth- Age 93, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday June 27, 2020. Private family funeral services and visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Mae was born August 12, 1926 in Gaines, the daughter of the late Alva and Alma (Krapohl) Palmer. She married Leon Scherbovich on January 31, 1948 and he preceded her in death on March 9 2003. Mae was a graduate in a class of two from Gaines High School in 1945. She worked at Perry Printing in Flint and was a volunteer with the American Red Cross at McLaren Hospital Flint for 11 years. She enjoyed playing bingo. Surviving are: daughter, Sandra; grandchildren, Daniel (Jennifer) Scherbovich, Michael Scherbovich, Brian (Christy) Scherbovich, Shannon (Jeff) Wait, Robin (Joe) Pospisil, great grandchildren, Alexandria and Reegan Scherbovich, Isabelle Scherbovich, Asher and Hadley Wait. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Pamela Scherbovich. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Daniel and Leonard; great grandson Riley Scott Scherbovich and brothers, CL and Jack Palmer.
