Mae A. MAGIERA

MAGIERA, Mae Arlene - Age 80, of Swartz Creek, died April 4, 2012 at her residence, with her loving family by her side. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, April 10 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek, Fr. Steve Mattson celebrant. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with a 7 PM Vigil service Monday; and 10 AM until the time of the mass at 11 AM Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. Mary Church. Mrs. Magiera was born May 30, 1931 in Manistee the daughter of William and Magdalena (Krupa) Sharpe. She was a 1949 graduate of Manistee High School. She had resided in Swartz Creek most of her life. She married Eugene Magiera on October 29, 1955; he preceded her in death July 16, 2011. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. Surviving are: four children, Tom Magiera of Durand, Matt and wife Sherri Magiera of Cadillac, Julie and husband Al Green of Lapeer, Jayne and husband Ron Mann of Lapeer; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
