Madelon Witten

WITTEN, Madelon Louise Wallace Gibbs - age 78, of Flint, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at her residence. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the Humane Society. Madelon was born January 31, 1937 in Flint, the daughter of Emmett Earl and Bessie Mae Wallace. She was a 1955 graduate of Flint Northern High School and worked as a bookkeeper for many years for several businesses. She also loved her cats. Surviving are: children, Terry Gibbs and his daughter Jennifer Gibbs, Chris (Nena) Gibbs, Deborah Gibbs-Halm and her sons, Aaron, Derek, Brian Halm; stepchildren, Todd (Felicia) Witten and their son, Andrew Witten, Terrie Ray and her partner Robert Bouchard; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family wants to extend a special thank you to Helping Hand Home Health Care and The Medical Team Hospice. She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Witten on April 19, 2015.
