Mabelle Elizabeth LOYER

LOYER, Mabelle Elizabeth - Age 90, of Linden, died June 16, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Loose Senior Center. Mabelle was born October 28, 1921 in Flint, the daughter of Fred and Edith (Covert) Hart. She was married to John Frederick "Jack" Loyer on June 12, 1942; he preceded her in death on September 18, 1979. Mabelle was a member of Linden Presbyterian Church, where she played piano and organ for many years. She had lived in Linden since 1942. Surviving are: son, George (Sheryl) Loyer of Linden; daughters, Rebecca Kiss and Barbara Loyer; grandchildren, Christopher Loomis, Jacob Kiss, Danielle Kiss, Evan Loyer and Niall Smith; two great-granddaughters, Talia Nora and Hazel Jacqueline; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Loomis; son-in-law, Phillip Kiss; siblings, Dena Sharp, Catherine Wolfgram, Elsie Bronson, Thalia Brewer, John Hart.
