Mabel Thompson

Thompson , Mabel Ruth - Age 93, of Flint, died May 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, May 21 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, Rev. Chris Radcliffe officiating. Entombment at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 11:30 AM until the time of the service Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice. Mabel was born March 5, 1926 in North Branch the daughter of Richard and Mary (Bozzard) Turner. She was a graduate of North Branch High School in 1943. She married Arwood Thompson on November 10, 1945 in North Branch. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had worked as a book-keeper for the Mott Foundation retiring in 1981. Surviving are husband of 73 years Arwood; two sons, Dale (Diane) Thompson of Ada, MI; Mark (Allan) Thompson of Flint; grandchildren, Danielle (Patrick) Landis of Lowell, MI, , Darryl Thompson of Seattle, WA; great-grandchildren, Aaden, Brooklyn, Jillian, Jocelyn.
