Mabel Nanney

NANNEY, Mabel "Inez" -- Age 90, of Flint, died September 19, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday September 22 at Berean Baptist Church, 6705 Rustic Ridge Trail, Grand Blanc. Pastor Bill Tipton officiating. Interment at Flint Memorial Park, Mt Morris. Visitation will be held 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, and 10 AM until time of service on Thursday at the church. Mabel was born July 30, 1926 in St. Charles, KY, the daughter of Vern and Ruby (Hamby) Parker. She married Harold W. Nanney Sr. in Flint on August 28, 1948; he preceded her in death on July 25, 1991. She was a lifelong member of Berean Baptist Church. She enjoyed baking cookies for her grandkids who adored them. She is survived by her children, Diana (Kenneth) Jones of Burton, Stephen (Denise) Nanney of Flint Twp; 9 grandchildren, Rebecca, Jody, Christie, Gary, Jason, Lisa, Adam, Suzanne and Aimee; and 7 great grandchildren.
