M. Lorene Burrows

BURROWS, M. Lorene  Age 84, of Goodrich, died Sunday, November 23, 2003 at Riverbend. Services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Dr. Roy McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be held at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Youth Department of Cornerstone Baptist Church or the Youth Department of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Burrow was born February 22, 1919 in Saldo, AR, the daughter of William Blaine and Kitty Ida (Hagemon) Hamby. She married Elder Basil F. Burrows, Sr. on November 7, 1935 and he preceded her in death on May 21, 1980. Mrs. Burrows was a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in Flint. Surviving are: two sons, William Bill Burrows and wife, Linda of Saline, MI, Basil Sonny Burrows, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Flint; daughter, Mildred Millie and husband, Dale Daron of Flushing; granddaughter and special caregiver, Brandy and husband, Chad Zdenek of Goodrich; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
