HARRIS, Lyman Charles  Age 68, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, April 8, 2004 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 1 PM Monday, April 12, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Jim Nelson officiating. Interment will be held at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be from 1-9 PM Saturday and 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. A Masonic Memorial service will be held at 7 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the family. Lyman was born in Flint, MI on December 9, 1935, the son of Lyman Jefferson and L.S. Jane (McGinnis) Harris. He married Dorothy M. Spence on November 27, 1954. He was employed at Buick Engineering for 32 years and belonged to the Masons, Bay City Consistory, Shriners and the Durand Eagles Aerie #381. Surviving are: wife, Dorothy, of Swartz Creek; children, Ann and John May of West Olive, Jenny Harris and Candy of Flushing, Lyman, Jr. and Karol Jacques of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Jesse and Sarah May of West Olive, Becky Harris of Shepard; great-granddaughter, Marissa Harris of Shepard; sisters, Dorothy Zitterkoph of Flushing and family, Shirley and Walt Snow of Millington and family; brothers, Harold and Velma Harris of Lake City, David (Ermine) and Pauline of Port Charlotte, FL; special friends, Jean and Tom Kubik of Flint.
