MCFADDEN, Lyle Edward, Jr. - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, died suddenly on June 8, 2023 at the age of 60. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Friday, June 16, 2023 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 2120 Saginaw St., Flint. MI 48503 with Rev. Dr. Daniel E. Moore, Sr. officiating. The family hour will begin 11 AM Friday at the church. Visitation will be held from 1-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. He was born on February 2, 1963 in Lansing, MI to Lyle "Mr. Big Red" and Frances (Lynch) McFadden, Sr. Lyle graduated from Lansing Sexton High School where he was an all around athlete and attended Saginaw Valley State University where we was on the Wrestling team. Mr. McFadden was a proud UAW member, working for General Motors as a Pipe Fitter for 37 years. Lyle enjoyed playing in his golf league, participating in his Fantasy Football league, he was an avid Michigan State fan and a deacon at Shiloh Baptist Church in Flint, MI. The most important thing in Lyle's life was the love for his family. Beloved wife of 20 years, Linda McFadden; father of Marcel and Marshon McFadden, Dustin (Jade) Traver, Nichole (Eric) Zimmerman; grandpa to Gabby and Jacob Jones and Miguel Traver; brothers, Roderick Sanders, Brian (Melissa) McFadden and William McFadden; nieces, Jazmin, Kiersten, Bryley McFadden and Zahirah Sanders; special aunt, Marion Scott; a host of extended family and friends; and his beloved dog, Minnie.
