Lydia Turner

TURNER, Lydia Lang - Age 90, of Fenton, died September 4, 2015. A memorial will be held at a later date in her honor. Arrangements under the direction of Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Lydia was born September 6, 1924 in Flint, the daughter of Henry and Amelia (Wunder) Lang. She was married to Archie Thompson Turner and he preceded her in death on March 29, 2002. Lydia was a loving wife and wonderful mother. She loved her children and grandchildren so much and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She gave us all such a love of family. Surviving are: 4 children, Dan (Marlene) Turner of Fenton, Tom (Pam) Turner of Fenton, Karen (John) Peters of Atlanta, GA, and Janis (Brad) DeWitt of Park City, UT; grandchildren, Ann Turner Podlesak, Matt Turner, Travis (Jenny) Turner, Cortney (Kevin) Gwaltney, Josh (Sarah) Peters, Ashley (Jason) Fritz, Kara DeWitt and Fianc Sean Sheridan, and Logan (Rachel) DeWitt; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Esther Mooney.
