MOUNT, Lydia A. - Age 78, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, november 29, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. with Pastor Michael Haines and Matt Hayden, Youth Pastor officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-8 PM Friday and 1 PM Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Calvary Christian Church. Lydia was born September 9, 1930 in Watervaleet, Michigan the daughter of Herman and Evangeline (Dukesherer) Schlieter. She married Maurice D. Mount on September 9, 1956 in Niles, Michigan. She had been a Flint area resident since 1954. Lydia had worked for 15 years at Pancake House and was also a member of Calvary Christian Church, where she was very active. Surviving are her husband, Maurice (Dwayne) of Grand Blanc; 6 children, Robert and wife Sandra Mount of Grand Blanc, Richard and wife Janet Mount of Grand Blanc, Jeanne Stickle of Kalispel, MT, Julie McFall of Kalispel, MT, David Watson of Pontiac, Katherine and husband Kenneth Patterson of Flint; There are 48 grandchildren and great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Clara Small of Lawrence, MI, Marion Thompson of Parchmont, MI, Eleanor Dalton of CA, Dorothy Nicholas of GA; brother, Leonard and wife Gertrude Schlieter of Bangor, MI.
