Lura J. Schmuck

SCHMUCK, Lura J. - age 92, of Fenton went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 16, 2006. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Colwell Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Schmuck was born on October 25, 1913 to John and Jennie (Williams) Cairns in Grand Marais, MI. She married Bernard Schmuck on November 1, 1931 in Tyrone Twp and had resided there since. She had been a member of Linden Community Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Schmuck was a strong, loving and kind lady, who will be missed by her family: daughter, Paula Sakstrup; son, Bernard Schmuck of Elkin, NC; three grandchildren, Jesse, Catherine, and Matthew.
