Lunetta C. Grant

GRANT, Lunetta C.  Age 83, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, April 11, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church with Rev. Emil Haering officiating. Interment will be held at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Mrs. Grant was born December 27, 1921 in Flint, the daughter of Clarence Otto and Marion F. (Schwarz) Russell. She married Maurice A. Grant on March 29, 1944. Mrs. Grant was a lifelong resident of the area. She worked at Gordon Anthony Flowers and Vogts Flowers for many years. She was a member of the World War II Submarine Auxiliary, Holiday Rambler Travel Club, Class of 1940 Monthly Sewing Club, attended Swartz Creek United Methodist Church and the Cleveland United Methodist Church in Florida. Mrs. Grant enjoyed cooking, camping, sewing and crafts. Surviving are: husband, Maurice A. Grant; two sons, Randall A. Grant and wife, Janet of Avondale, AZ and their son, Jeremy Froman of Phoenix, AZ, Ronald B. Grant and wife, Carol of Kalamazoo, and their children, Heather and husband, Joe Syrowik of Raleigh, NC, Brian Grant of Kentwood and fiancâ?se, Jessica Fisher of Kalamazoo; sister, Helen and husband, Donald Breaugh of Ocala FL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters, Virginia Taylor, Dorothy Perkins; two brothers-in-law, Samuel Taylor and Audley Perkins.
