GRENNAY, Lula Mae, age 76, of Swartz Creek, formerly of Flint, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be held 12PM Monday, February 19, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 4-8PM Friday and also 1-4 and 6-8PM Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Lula Mae was born November 14, 1930 in Flint, the daughter of James A. and Martha (Gould) Lee. She was a graduate of Flint Northern High School. Lula Mae married Raymond Grennay on October 14, 1952 in Angola, Indiana and they lived in Flint until moving to Swartz Creek in 1997. She was a loving wife; devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; caring sister and friend who put others before herself. Surviving are her loyal husband of 54 years, Raymond; 6 children, James and wife Janet of Burton, Mark of Swartz Creek, Daniel and wife Ellen of Chandler, Arizona, Andy and wife Pam of Flint; Paula Thayer and husband Larry of Gaines; Ray and wife Sheila of Flint; 8 grandchildren, James Jr., Jeremy, Sarah Mae, Jesica, Amber, Charlotte, Shane, Tyler; 2 great-grandchildren, Kylie, Peyton; 2 sisters, Maxine Lee of Columbiaville, June Lott of Bridgeport; 2 brothers, George Lee and wife Nancy of Flint, Paul Lee and wife Jane of Flint and many nieces and nephews.
