Lucy Foguth

FOGUTH, Lucy Anna - age 79, of Fenton, died Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Funeral mass will be celebrated 12:30 PM Saturday, December 6, 2008 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. with Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Thursday and 12-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed 7:30 PM Friday evening. Mrs. Foguth was born June 6, 1929 in Highland Park, MI, the daughter of Harry and Hilda (Higmon) Burt and she resided in Fenton since 1959 coming from Detroit. She married Melvin Foguth on September 24, 1946 in Detroit and he preceded her in death on November 28, 2000. Mrs. Foguth was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Surviving are: 13 children, Curtis and wife Paula of Linden, Christine and husband Robert Cole of Fenton, Sharon and husband Paul Moggach of Brighton, Beverly Foguth of Fenton, Catherine Brouwers of Huntington Beach, CA, John and wife Shari of Fenton, Mary and husband, Tony Smith of Michigan, Paul and wife Karen of Linden, Michael and wife Marie, Thomas and wife Sandy, Robert, David and wife Jaimee, Keith and wife Natalie, all of Fenton; three foster sons, John and Bill Grosnickle of Michigan, Ray Horner of Colorado; 33 grandchildren and 16great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by: her parents;brother, Joseph; sister, Grace; two grandchildren, Spencer Douglas and Curtis Michael 'Loopy' Foguth; daughter-in-law, Joanna Foguth.
