Lucy Federoff

FEDEROFF, Lucy - Age 95, of Fenton, passed away September 26, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 2-5 & 7-9PM Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Lucy was born March 12, 1927 in Detroit, the daughter of Daniel and Helen Evans. She married Paul Federoff on October 18, 1953. Paul served as the Director of Secondary Education for Warren Consolidated School District. Education was an integral part of their lives. When their children became teenagers, Lucy went back to school to become a teacher. She graduated from U of M Flint and then taught 4th grade at South Bendle Elementary School until her retirement. She loved playing tennis and living in her dream home on Marl Lake that they built in 1974 with the help of the Linden and Fenton Co-op teachers, as well as students. Lucy is survived by her son, Mark; grandchildren, Samuel and Rachel; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul on June 7, 2007; son, Peter on May 18, 2007 and her siblings. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
