Lucinda Hyder

HYDER, Lucinda Marie (Cindy Flores) - age 58 of Sault Ste. Marie, formerly of Burton, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Pastor Keith Hyder officiating. Visitation will be 9 AM Saturday until the time of service. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Old Newsboys of Flint.

Cindy was born February 24, 1961 in Flint, the daughter of Eduardo and Mildred (Chromie) Flores. She married Daunt Hyder Sr. August 1, 1977.
It has been said many times that if you met Cindy once you knew her forever. With her one of a kind smile, her infectious personality, and her indescribable laugh, Cindy left a lasting impression on everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. As a friend, Cindy was endlessly supportive, easy to talk to, and always there when you were in need. As a sister, Cindy cherished the relationships she had. She shared countless stories of all the great memories she had growing up. Stories of laughter, love, and relationships that molded her life. As a Mother, she was a provider of all things, a hug during a trying time, words of encouragement when you had self doubt, and a feeling of safety and love no matter the situation. When Cindy would speak of her children, it was obvious that they were, without question, her greatest accomplishment. As a Grandmother, Cindy was unsurprassingly compassionate, instinctively defensive, and wildly loving of all her grandchildren. Whether it was the daily telephone calls with her granddaughter, the fishing trips with her grandsons, or the unforgettable sleepovers at Grandmas, Cindy knew that those memories will fill our hearts forever. We know that you are in Heaven, dancing with Dad and you are both smiling, looking down on all that you two created. We love you.

Cindy is survived by: children, Joshua Hyder, Caleb (Tarin) Hyder, and Star (Nik) Green; stepson, Daunt (Melissa) Hyder, Jr.; grandchildren, Brittany, Harley, Kiersten, Gunnar, C.J., Mason, and Lilly; brother, Jim (Genny) Flores; nephews, Eric, Steven, Mark; and niece, Ashley.
