Lucille Evens

EVENS, Lucille Marie - age 59, of Gaines, died April 26, 2018. Services will be held 1 PM Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 12 PM - until the time of service. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society. Lucille was born October 22, 1958 in Flint, the daughter of Edward and Dorothy (Scott) Cornwell. She married Michael L. Evens in Linden on February 18,1989. Lucille was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School and Mott Community College. She was employed as a personal assistant. Lucille loved her dog, Simba. She enjoyed gardening, boating, and rooting for the MSU Spartans! Surviving are: her husband of 29 years, Michael; son, Colton Evens; siblings, Georgeanna Cornwell, Darlene (Lonnie) Lewis, Casey (Jerry) Rogers, Robert Boza, and LaVerne Boza; and several nieces and nephews.
