Lowry Dixon BROWN

BROWN, Lowry D. - age 74, of Fenton, died Friday, June 18, 2010 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Rev. Donald Neuville officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-8 PM Tuesday and 11 AM until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Loose Senior Citizen Center in Linden. Lowry was born May 25, 1936 and was a graduate of Linden High School. He married Judith Goodfellow in 1968. Lowry was a die maker at Flint Metal Fab for 42 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of the National Ski Patrol at Boyne Highlands for 47 years. In competitive water skiing, he was a judge and boat driver. He also enjoyed bicycling and traveling. Surviving are: wife, Judith; children and grandchildren, Andrew (Juline), Ashley and Paige Brown, Kevin (Michele), Fiona Brown; Ralph, Martha and Anthony.
