TURCO-LONGTON, Louise Rose- Age 73, of Flint, died Sunday July 29, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Â Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton. Â Fr. David Harvey officiating. Â Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Fenton. Â Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-9 PM Tuesday. Â Louise was born January 1, 1934 in Northville, the daughter of John and Virginia (Martino) Turco. Â She was a 1952 graduate of Fenton High School and has resided in the Flint area her entire life. Â She retired from Genesee County Department of Social Service in 1995 as a Administrative Service Supervisor. Â She attend St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton and Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Burton. Â Surviving are: daughter, Lisa Longton of Flint; former husband, William H. Longton of Florida; 2 daughters-in-law, Florinda Lucas and Elizabeth Longton both of Flint; 5 granddaughters, Tamara Halvorsen of Florida, Amy Stamm of Florida, Angie Crenshaw and husband Jonathon of Chicago, IL, Amanda Jones and husband Greg of Flint, Lyndsey Longton of Flint; grandson, Vincent Longton of Flint; 5 great grandchildren, Robby, Erik and Brent Halvorsen, Kylie Staniszewski, Abby Longton; special friend, Dawn Danielson. Â She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, William H. Longton III and John A. Longton; sister, Marie Turco; 2 brothers, Albert and Robert Turco.
