Louise Turco-Longton

TURCO-LONGTON, Louise Rose- Age 73, of Flint, died Sunday July 29, 2007 at Genesys Health Park.  Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton.  Fr. David Harvey officiating.  Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Fenton.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-9 PM Tuesday.  Louise was born January 1, 1934 in Northville, the daughter of John and Virginia (Martino) Turco.  She was a 1952 graduate of Fenton High School and has resided in the Flint area her entire life.  She retired from Genesee County Department of Social Service in 1995 as a Administrative Service Supervisor.  She attend St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton and Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Burton.  Surviving are: daughter, Lisa Longton of Flint; former husband, William H. Longton of Florida; 2 daughters-in-law, Florinda Lucas and Elizabeth Longton both of Flint; 5 granddaughters, Tamara Halvorsen of Florida, Amy Stamm of Florida, Angie Crenshaw and husband Jonathon of Chicago, IL, Amanda Jones and husband Greg of Flint, Lyndsey Longton of Flint; grandson, Vincent Longton of Flint; 5 great grandchildren, Robby, Erik and Brent Halvorsen, Kylie Staniszewski, Abby Longton; special friend, Dawn Danielson.  She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, William H.
