Louise Jensen

JENSEN, Louise F., age 81, of Flushing, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 11AM Saturday, June 7, 2008 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 S. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Pastor Steven Maske and Deacon Bill Storm officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be  4-8PM Thursday and 1-8PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Louise was born September 12, 1926 the daughter of Herman and Agnes (Benecke) Wiebeck. She married Donald Jensen on February 23, 1946 in Flint and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2006 after 60 years of marriage. Louise was employed by McLaren Regional Medical Center as a LPN for 10 years until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Altar Guild. Louise was a very loving, caring person who did for others before herself, without ever a complaint. She  enjoyed baking and loved to give the baked goods away. Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl Pelc (John) of Flushing; son, Gary Jensen of Flushing; granddaughter, Michelle (Greg) Waller and children, Morgan, Derek; and granddaughter, Laura (Greg) Baker and children, Seth and Sydney; 2 sisters, Irene Henschel of Kansas, Mary Lou Alexander of Ohio; sister-in-law, Joyce Wiebeck of Swartz Creek.
