Louise May EVERHART

March 25, 1921 — June 9, 2009

EVERHART, Louise May -- Age 88, of Holly, died June 9, 2009. Private services will be held with interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Louise was born March 25, 1921 in Blaine Township, Benzie County, MI, the daughter of Ernest and Minnie (Sherman) Putney. She married George Donald "Don" Everhart April 17, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA. She had resided in Holly since 1974 coming from Flint. She worked in Building Inspections for the City of Flint and retired in 1989. She was a member of the Oakwood Restoration Branch of Jesus Christ. She was also a member of the American Motorcycle Association and was a Den mother for the Boy Scouts. Surviving are: husband Don; two sons, Gary and wife Bonnie of Charlotte, MI, Gregg of Stockbridge, GA; grandson Tracy and wife Cathy of Linden. She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Wade. Tributes and condolences may be shared at the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
