DOOLEY, Louise Joann - Age 94, of Fenton (formerly of St. Clair Shores and Ann Arbor), died Monday, July 25, 2016. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Friday, July 29, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Louise was born September 15, 1921 in Detroit, the daughter of Louis and Giovanna (Lassini) Robelli. As a young adult, she traveled the world and was an avid dancer. She worked for many years as a professional secretary for Detroit Edison. She retired from there just before marrying James Nolan Dooley on May 6, 1956 in Detroit. Together they moved to St. Clair Shores and had two sons, Sean and Timothy. James passed away on January 15, 1967. After raising her family alone, Louise became an expert in vitamins and nutrition. In her later years, Louise enjoyed reading books and doing crossword puzzles on her Nook. Surviving are: son, Sean Dooley of Ann Arbor; daughter-in-law, Judy Dooley of Jackson; grandchildren, Michael, Megan, Nolan, and Caitlin; sister, Eleanor Pompi of Sterling Heights; and nieces Patricia and Linda.
